I have always loved animals and they generally respon positivily to that warmth. Frogs and snakes have been a favorite since childhood. I will always remember that my pet turtle escaped when the male ash tree flowers were in bloom in April. I thought every dead flower was a skeleton of my turtle. I like to ride horses and I have owned two dogs. As I get older I have less interest in controlling any other animal's life. Mine is enough to take care of.
